Frames. . . .Christmas . . . .Bird of Paradise

I've been dabbling with lots of things during this past month.
I started out by putting my studio in order a little when I took a look at these frames.  These are frames that I have collected over the years. Or, have  recycled.  One of the most expensive parts of painting, that is SHOWING paintings, is the preparation, the framing.  So I have been working to clean them up, take the layers of dust off the glass, and put some of my things inside.

 

I'm trying to find out if they work, for size, type, color. 

Some have to be repaired. Some gilded. Some just thrown away!

And, why couldn't they be the perfect solution for Christmas ?
